Charles A. Wood: Public Appearances
Since my days as an undergraduate astronomy student, I have given hundreds of presentations to school children, teacher conventions, fellow scientists, service clubs, astronomical societies and annual star parties, the general public and even the NASA Administrator. I have been a frequent guest on radio and TV shows, explaining current space(and volcano) discoveries and happenings in the sky. Some of the topics I have discussed are:

  • Moon, Mars, exploration of the solar system
  • Observing the Moon, the sky at night, the Lunar 100
  • Cassini Mission to Saturn
  • The Sun & its effects on Earth
  • Earth from space
  • Volcanoes on Earth and in the solar system
  • Climate change on Earth and the planets
  • Internet education and educational web site design.

The amazing thing is that all of these topics stem from research and activities I have actually done!

I am available to make 10-12 presentations each year. Please contact me with inquiries about booking, availability and fees for lectures, appearances and interviews for events, conferences and workshops.
