The Clementine Atlas of the Moon - Nomenclatural Corrections

The Clementine Atlas of the Moon (Bussey & Spudis) is the only existing map that contains up to date nomenclature for both the near and far sides of the Moon, including craters with letter designations (e.g. Copernicus A). Unfortunately, as the list below documents, the Atlas contains a large number of errors. Fortunately, most are spelling mistakes and thus are more of a nuisance than a serious problem; these errors should not interfere with the value of the Atlas as a nomenclatural reference - just don't accept its spellings! Note by Danny Caes: It is always possible that there are (a little bit) more of these errors, but I think I have detected all of them. In the gazetteer of this Clementine-book, there is also the error of the wrong co-ordinates for the craterlet RAVI: it is an error which was also online in the USGS's gazetteer, but has now been corrected.
