Elger's The Moon is one of the smallest and best guides to the Moon. Only 173 pages long, Elger's little blue book contains concise descriptions of each lunar formation, rather than the exhaustive ones of Neison. Like Beer and Madler, Elger's map is four quadrant sheets, with a mustard green shading for the maria.
