This full scale view of a portion of one of Wilkin's map sheets shows the Straight Wall and the lunar crater Arzachel (bottom left). Wilkins was the master of small detail, which made his maps cluttered. Although Wilkin's always labeled this a 300" map the only copies I have seen are at a scale of 100" to the Moon's diameter. Perhaps he drafted the maps at the large scale but the expense of publication limited him to the smaller reproductions.
