I discovered this 50+ year old Italian book about the Moon in the Harvard College astronomy library. I didn't have much time to look at it but did notice the map bound into the back. The map was based on the same 1923 Mappa Selenographica by Andel that Sky Publishing still uses for their Moon Map. |
This is a simple map showing shadowed outlines of craters and a little shading for the maria.
